THE BASICS
A formal course that provides you with fundamental handbuilding skills so you can masterfully create your artistic visions.

FIGURATIVE, LARGE SCULPTURE
Not just about making, but also about learning to 'see';  to understand the language of sculpture; and to explore how best to express your creative intention in clay.

SURFACE TREATMENT
Shape and mass are only part of the sculptural story.  Learn how to ensure that the surfaces of your finished pieces are an integral and enhancing part of the plot.

BACKYARD AND PERFORMANCE KILNS
Learn how to build a small brick kiln that can be fired in a city backyard, or a bespoke ceramic fibre kiln for your large sculptures. Co-facilitated with Margaret Sumich.
